In 1948, the company was transferred from Redditch to Port Glasgow in Scotland, where the above needles have been produced. Contrary to the Germans who transferred the needle circularly during the production, this company manufactured machines which transferred the needles in a straight line. The latch was insterted automatically after the dye of the metal, because it had to go under different process, in order to become harder. The needles of Redditch were considered to be of excellent quality.
